Math Foundations for Middle School Success

Why a solid math foundation during middle school matters:

Building a solid foundation in math during middle school is essential because these years introduce critical concepts—fractions, ratios, integers, basic algebra, and geometry—that serve as the building blocks for high-school math and everyday problem solving. Strong middle-school math skills improve confidence, support success in standardized testing, and make later topics like algebra, statistics, and more advanced geometry far easier to understand.

Who should take the course:

- Students in grades 6–7 who need a clear, student-friendly review and practice of core middle-school math topics so they can ace Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and beyond.

- Students in grade 8 who want to reinforce concepts before high school.

Topics include:

Unit 1: The Number System

Unit 2: Ratios, Proportions, and Percents

Unit 3: Expressions and Equations

Unit 4: Geometry

Unit 5: Statistics and Probability

Unit 6: The Coordinate Plane and Functions

Course features:

- Structured on the learning management system

- 600+ practice questions
